We have been practicing ABC order whole group for a couple of weeks. The students have worked really hard to understand how to put words in ABC order and I finally decided they were ready to do it independently. I made up a pocket chart activity where the students had to put the words in ABC order and then write the words on a skills sheet. {A principal I had a few years ago didn't like the term "worksheet", but for some reason didn't mind the term "skills sheet". lol }
