What's On Your Bulletin Board Linky - May

Hi!  I am back with the May edition of What's On Your Bulletin Board Linky!

Today I am going to share what is currently on my scrapbook wall!  Last year, my students made these prefix clouds for the first time.  My students had a blast making them last year, so I knew my Kinders this year would love making them too!  {Please excuse this extremely horrible picture.  I didn't realize this picture was so out of focus until I went to crop it.}

I have to share a close up of one of my Kinders' clouds.  This Kinder loves tigers and has colored many of her free choice coloring projects to look like a tiger!  I love how she made it her own!

This is not part of my bulletin board, but I wanted to share how our displays may impact our students.  This Kinder drew this picture to go with a sentence he wrote about rainbows.  I just love his rainbow coming out of his cloud in strips!

Would you like to share your bulletin boards?  All you have to do is grab the graphic above and add your link below.  I can't wait to see all of the great project your students have completed!

Weekly Summer Link-Up ~ My Goals For the Summer

I am excited to link up with Monica from I Heart Grade 3 for the first week of her summer linky!

The topic for this week is "My Goals for the Summer."

1.  Get my classroom organized.

There is a 99.9% chance that I will be moving into a much, much smaller classroom for the next school year.  If that does happen, I really need to get my classroom organized so that I can function next year in a classroom that is literally half the size of my current classroom.

2.  Finish/update some TpT products.
I have several half finished projects on my computer that I want to finish up and put on Teachers Pay Teachers.  There are also some older items that I made several years ago that could use some updating.

3.  Make a cleaning schedule.
I really need to get myself on a cleaning schedule.  No, my house isn't dirty, but a schedule would definitely help my sanity.  lol

4.  Relax.
Last, but definitely not least, I want to just take some time and relax this summer.  We have a great pool in the back yard, and we don't seem to use it as much as we should.  We also have a couple trips planned for the summer that I can't wait for!

Thanks for checking up my goals for the summer!  See you soon!

Five For Friday

I'm linking up with Kacey from Doodle Bugs Teaching for a little Five for Friday fun!

So I was looking through my files the other day, and I found a couple files labeled "Beginning of the Year."  Great, I thought.  Opened them up.  They were full of transparencies!  Um, I haven't used transparencies in years.  I think it's time to get rid of these files.  What do you think?

I made this fun Earth Day syllable game for my students.  Unfortunately, we were not able to play this game until this week, but my students didn't seem to mind.  :)

Last week, my students made Earth day handprint Earths {you can see the completed project here}.  We used this fun glitter paint from Lakeshore Learning.  I absolutely love this paint!  I need to go back soon and purchase some in other fun colors!

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen this picture.  I totally forgot to make this sheet at home using cute fonts and had to use Comic Sans at school.  I went out that night and bought a calendar so that I never have to use the evil font again!  My Kinders didn't seem to mind.  They were so proud of themselves for being able to identify all of the ways to make 7.

This morning I counted the days until the last day of school and could not believe the number.  We have 23 more days!  I have so much I still want to teach my Kinders!  We also have so much going on in the next 23 days - field trip, field day, promotion ceremony!  It will be over before I know it.

Well, I must get going to sleep.  I have to up at 1:30 tomorrow morning to help chaperone a field trip to Disneyland!  Tough assignment I know!

Thanks for stopping by!
